Our first episode of the 2018-2019 school year! In this episode, we talk about August's Grand Jury Report which detailed a history of sexual abuse by clergy in a Pennsylvania Diocese. We'll spend some time talking about the report, consider why we still should remain Catholic despite scandals like this, and then talk briefly about what we as part of this Church can do going forward.

Today, we pick up where we left off in the middle of February: talking about how reason leads us to faith. In this episode, we talk about how the continuing reality of miracles in our world fits into that!

Independence is overrated

Today we start a three part series in which we talk about things that lie within the reach of our perception and understanding that lead us to believe in the words and the promises of Christ. We start the series off today by talking about the Witness of the Apostles, and why the very fact that they proclaimed Christ Ressurected - is a powerful defense of the claim that he was.

Today we finish the our conversation on the question we ended last semester with: why are all priest’s men? Having talked last time about how the Church must do what she sees the Son of Man doing, this week we talk about one of the ideas about why the Son of Man might have chosen to build his Church in this way.
