We’re back this week on Chasin’ Birdies and joined by a guest who has pretty much done it all in the golf world. Chris Trott joins us to talk all things golf and his epic career in the golf industry. 
We start off with Chris talking about how we Americans are always on time. He runs through some scenarios with golfers around the world and how their practice schedule differs from country to country. 
We got into some talk with Chris about his early career in golf and trying to make it professionally. After coming close but not enough, he tells us how he ended up with Taylormade and working on global tours for them. 
We switch over the talk and get into some analytics. Chris tells us some stories about guys on the tour and what some of their routines look like before an event. He also talks about a run-in with Paul McCartney that will have you laughing.

We’re back for another fresh episode of Chasin’ Birdies. Country singer/performer Mitchell Tenpenny joins us to chat all about life in his world and his slight addiction to the game of golf.
We open up the episode with some rehashing of the past. The three of us have known each other for some time now, but this is the first time we sit down and chop it up. We talk about his life lately and the tour he’s been on. With the Holidays approaching, Mitchell tells us about his slowdown that’s approaching. 
We dive into some talk about the tour and where he’s been. How does golf play a role in their day-to-day affairs? MTP tells us why golf is used to break up the monotony of the typical tour life. 
Being a musician is one thing, but being an entrepreneur with a passion to help is another. MTP encompasses both and shares a look at his charity and how he’s combating cancer. We also know he’s a sneakerhead. We touch on topics surrounding golf today and his Jordan collection. 
We get a sneak peek into what 2024 will look like, including a tour with Luke Combs in the U.S. It’s safe to say Mitchell is on a rocketship with no slowing down.

With playoff baseball in the air, it’s appropriate to bring on this All-Star pitcher and hear what he’s all about. Mitch Keller joins us on today’s episode of Chasin’ Birdies. The Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher had a great season in 2023, and now, with the offseason in full swing, will he get some golf in?
We open up the episode and chop it up a bit with Mitch. Just getting back from Ireland, we thought there’d be some golf stories..but he didn’t play. We chatted about Ireland and all the golf that happens in that country, along with some stories from the trip last year.
We get the inside scoop of his early career in baseball and being drafted right out of High School. We turn the talk over to baseball now and what it’s like playing for the Pirates. Hitting the league in 2019, Mitch has grown in his role and looks to be hitting his stride into next year. 
We turn the talk over to some golf. He grew up with basically a practice facility near his house, so golf came at an early age. Sneaking in golf before baseball practice was something he did on the reg. We flow through some more banter and yuck it up about everything from the offseason to golf trips and everything in between.

We’re back this week on Chasin’ Birdies as we head over to the NFL world. Danny Woodhead joins us in this episode to chat about all things life, football, and his passion for golf. 
We open up the episode with Danny giving us a look into his early football career. Setting records in college, Danny was undrafted and ended up being scooped up by the Jets. He tells us the story of an injury that sets him back but only to be claimed thereafter by the New England Patriots. 
We talk about what it was like playing with Tom Brady and for Bill Belichick. We get a glimpse into what practices were like with Tom tossin’ the pigskin. Staying on the football front, we talk about Super Bowl 46 and his move over to the San Diego Chargers.
Not knowing what to do after football, Danny’s wife told him he should take up golf. This small fire set blaze, and Danny tells us how now he’s totally hooked on golf.
Playing at a scratch, we talk about golf experiences he’s had and his passion. We have to admit, Danny is an equipment junky and gives us a look into what his set currently consists of.

This is a good one…a really, really good one. With Fall in the air, not only is golf still at the forefront, but basketball season is right around the corner. We are kicking it off with this episode and our guest, Cameron Johnson, who plays for the Brooklyn Nets. 
We open up the episode and talk about his upbringing in the Pittsburgh area. Playing in the WPIAL opened a lot of doors for Cam, and sure enough, he found himself at the University of Pittsburgh playing D-1 basketball for the Panthers. After three years at Pitt, he left and joined UNC Tarheels for his remaining years of eligibility. He tells us what other schools he was considering and what playing for UNC was like, especially during the rivalry games with Duke. Cam opens up and tells us what it was like playing at Duke during their Senior Night…the story is so good.
We turn the page over to life currently and his time in the NBA. Drafted in the 1st round of the 2019 NBA Draft, he was traded to Phoenix and spent some time with the Suns. Recently, Cam inked a multiyear deal with the Brooklyn Nets and talks a little bit about his life in the NBA. 
The fun starts when we start talking golf with Cam. New to the game, he is now an addict like us all. He’s got some goals to get his game up to par and gives us a look at how many thoughts are in his head when swingin’ the club.
