The Labor Trafficking Education and Research Initiative was created in 2024 to help fill the gap in the understanding of human trafficking, specifically labor trafficking. Through data, the Initiative seeks to offer insight to enable better identification of victims, services available, and best practices.
U Change Counseling & Behavioral Health Agency
Lashanna Alfred - CEO and Founder
Licensed Independent Social Worker as well as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toledo teaching Master Level Social Work classes. Her passion is to inspire others to become the trauma that has paralyzed them by empowering them and bringing them to a place of healing where they can be the best version of themselves.
