"I felt like there was a need for a space that's honest about suffering but also has hope and can show the good in the midst of that." Carrie Schuessler always had a desire to encourage and help people, but the path that the Lord set her on probably came as a surprise to her. After she experienced some major health issues during her time in university, she took a step back and tried to find God in her suffering. Together, Carrie and I talk about how she came to encounter God through her suffering, how she came to start her podcast I Choose Grit, and the ways in which she's learning to live with an illness and not letting that stop her from living her life to the full.
