    Appreciate God's Abundance

    Appreciate God's Abundance

It began with Gordon Murray doing a solo from time to time, and leading a Christmas Eve and Sunrise service, then like Harry Chapin's Six String Orchestra, in which the main character dreams of being part of a band, Pastor Jeff joined in with his bass to fill the bottom in, and soon another guitar/mandolin made it sound not so thin (thanks Dave Copper) along with harmonizing vocals, and to bring a brighter sound we have been joined by a lead female vocalist (welcome Kathy Burns), our dream of making music to your ears is coming true, as we play together like fine musicians should. This is the birth of King's ---- Strings (Gospel, Christmas, Easter, and who knows what's next) and our journey of being another musical asset of the Music Ministry of Christ Our King. We are pleased to announce that our next outing will be this Sunday, and we are welcoming Rick Schaech on piano as we lead hymns and other service music. Join us for our first Sunday of Care for Creation as we celebrate the abundance of God's world, gather at the Table, and sing many praises.
