Brandon - Context
This is part two in my sit down with Brandon, a pastor in the Atlanta area. In this episode we talk about context and putting commonly heard Christian phrases or quotes into their right context. One example of this (that we hear ALL the time) is "the truth will set you free". I also ask Brandon what he wishes would click with culture and what he believes culture needs clarity on. Finally, we talk about some resources he recommends to folks needing clarity on the issues discussed in part 1 & 2.

Brandon - Church Hurt
This is the first episode of a two part discussion with Brandon, a pastor in the Atlanta area. In this episode we discuss church hurt. This is an issue that is far more prevalent than we may sometimes think, or even want to admit, but it’s important to work through. Brandon discusses the way Scripture speaks directly to this issue, and ways that Christian’s can navigate this.
I also wanted to discuss seeing pastors and big name Christian leaders in negative news headlines. This is something we see a lot of. I want to ask him about this. Brandon points out that this isn’t new, and it goes back to the church in its earliest days. -
Adrian - Church
This is part two in my sit down with Adrian, a pastor in the the Atlanta area that has been a friend to me and my family for many years now. If you didn’t get to listen to the first of this two part series with him, I encourage you to go back to that episode before hearing this one. In this episode we discuss the church. Specifically, the impact covid has had on the view of what church truly is. There’s no denying that the virtual church was better than nothing when there was much uncertainty with the pandemic. Many places were even forced to not gather. Adrian goes into his thoughts on that.
Something else we see in the Atlanta area is a LOT of churches. I ask Adrian why. And why can churches within the same denomination have such vastly different stances and very important issues.
Finally, I ask Adrian what he sees our culture needs clarity on. He gives two interesting points.

Clarity and Compassion
Chris does a great job interviewing real pastors about real questions. He gets to the heart and really let’s these leaders share truth without needing to promote a church/denomination/book sales. I’m looking forward to what’s next!
