Welcome back for another season of the CollegeSoccerNews.com Podcast! We open our portion of the season up this week with Jennifer Rockwood, head coach of the top-ranked BYU Cougars. In this episode we talk about that No. 1 ranking, the transition to the Big 12 Conference and what she has liked about her veteran squad in the early portion fo the season. 

We check in this week Vermont head coach Rob Dow as he leads his team towards the end of the season. The Catamounts return a strong squad from last year's team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament and are currently ranked in the top 10 in the country.

Ohio State head coach Brian Maisonneuve joins the show this week to talk about the Buckeyes program. He talks about finishing non-conference play undefeated for the first time in program history, a report card on his season so far and what he expects from his team down the stretch. 

Pepperdine head coach Tim Ward stops by on this week's show to talk about last season's run and two key matches coming up this week against Long Beach State and top-ranked UCLA. Coach Ward also discusses his evolution as a coach as it pertains to winning and the pursuit of excellence, and also shares that Pepperdine is more than just a pretty campus. 

Notre Dame head coach Chad Riley joins the show this week to talk about being the head coach at his alma mater and his team's run to the College Cup a season ago. Coach Riley also breaks down this season's Irish and some players to watch this fall. 

UConn head coach Chris Gbandi kicks off our podcast series for the 2022! Coach Gbandi talks about his time as a student-athlete, and then how he worked his way through the ranks to return as the head coach at his alma mater.
