"Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while." These words of Jesus Christ are an invitation to personal and intimate prayer. By reflecting on scenes from the Gospel, on other passages from Scripture, and on the insights of saints and spiritual writers, we can strengthen our faith in Jesus and our love for God. In the Gospel of John, Jesus says, "I have called you my friends." Nourishment for the journey
I am so ver grateful for this re-alignment in my spirituality. Whenever I am beginning to get derailed either by my daily commitments, the world around me or the world inside; I am always consistently consoled and brought back to a peaceful rest when I settle in and pray these medications. Meditations on the go
It has been great to have these half hour mediations over the last couple of years. It has been a huge help with my mental prayer. I’ve re-listened to many of the episodes as I’ve found them very fruitful for continued reflection on the topic of that episode when it bringing it to my mental prayer.
