In Moroni’s defense
I agree the letter from Moroni was harsh. But, hstewardship was over the entire army. What you don’t take out the garbage, it doesn’t result in hundreds of lost lives. A really big problem was Pahoran’s failure to communicate his situation. We know they could receive letters from each other, because Pahoran replied quickly to Moroni’s second letter. Twice before he had seen how Moroni responded to the king-men, but he said he didn’t know what he should do. He sent a small amount of provisions and food earlier, and could have communicated the difficult situation at that time. Moroni’s situation was desperate. I do really appreciate that Pahoran didn’t respond in anger. However, maybe a part of Pahoran’s response was based on a little guilt that he hadn’t acted sooner.
Relatable, Detailed, Engaging l
I’m so happy I came across this podcast! Here are the things I love about it:
- It’s more than once a week
- The episodes short but detailed and leave me thinking about the topic. I go back and listen to them again sometimes.
- Caleb is very relatable and uses examples from his own life and things happening today to help me understand the scriptures more
- I really like how Caleb looks at the scriptures from different angles to help us relate (I’m specifically thinking of the episode with Laman’s point of view)
Caleb thank you for your hard work, I can imagine this isn’t the easiest thing to do but please know what you are doing is very much appreciated. I look forward to listening to your podcasts!
Well thought out
I love the way Caleb incorporates personal life experiences with the readings in “come follow me “.
