This episode Logan, Dad, and Melody discuss some email from a listener in South Korea.  They also brief talk about the first episode.  Logan Talks about what it was like initially podcast that first year and what they have moved up to now.  




The three then discuss three different books that they have read.  Logan tells us about the newest Hilo adventure from Judd Winick, and the adventure that Polly gets into on the planet of Oshun.  Melody and Dad discuss an advanced copy of Blood City Rollers buy V.P. Anderson and Tatiana Hill.  We learn about Mina a human figure skater that gets wrapped up with some interesting people.   
Melody then segways into a new book she has enjoyed called Fae and the Moon.  Melody tells us Fae's adventure to find her mother and what happens when she steals he Moon.

This episode Logan  and Dad do a deep dive on the new Transformers comic book from Skybound/Image comics written and drawn by Daniel Warren Johnson with Mike Spicer on Colors.  Logan gives us the story beats as they go through each of the first three issues.  Dad tells us about is love of DWJ art and the way Daniel draws the sound effects as part of the art. 



Logan tells us what he enjoys most about the Transformers and eventually remembers some of the Decepticons names.  Most importantly we let the listener know that this book may not be appropriate for a younger reader because of the violence and tragic death of characters.  


The father / son duo also talk about spoilers so if you haven't read the first three books you may want to read them first them have a listen.

This episode Logan and Dad discuss a series of Hulk comics that Dad picked up at the NWI Comic Con.  The two look through issues 421 thru 423 of the now classic Peter David run of the Incredible Hulk. Logan gives a breakdown of the story and what he found interesting about the mini-series. 



Dad talks a little bit about the 1990's promotion of Captain Universe and the personalized comic mail away.  We also learn that Logan can't pronounce the name Gilgamesh or Aegammenon.

10TH ANNIVERSARY OF COMIC CON













This episode we recap our trip to the NWI Comic Con.  Logan and Melody discuss there favorite things about the convention.  Dad discusses his books that he picked up and the creators he got a chance to speak with.  Along the way the family picked up a few books and bought some wares from the different vendors. 

Melody is now absorbed into the Last Unicorn series by Jacinto Gonzalez published by Guerilla publishing.
