    S4E17: Comedians Need An Audience

    S4E17: Comedians Need An Audience

In an odd turn of events; Rachel and Alex don’t discuss politics in this episode. SHOCKING WE KNOW. To be fair; we chat nuclear war for all of 5 seconds. This married duo chat modern comedy and what it looks like to create a large following. Why the old way of doing things can no longer survive in the attention economy. Rachel shares (too much) about her new favorite movie The Outfit and why Marty Scorsese is (slightly) overrated. Alex shares why AI is truly terrifying and we share why luxury travel is addicting. This is an easy listen. Well, besides that we attempt to end like 4 times, but ya know - when you’re in the flow,  you’re in the flow baybeeee! Enjoy!

    S4E16: QUICK! Midterm Elections

Welcome to our “mini” episode. Not sure if you’ve heard the word on the street; but allow us to blow your minds. Yes we did see our favorite news podcast, Breaking Points live and yes we did do the meet and greet. We sound off on a few “opinion pieces” and then discuss the importance of political debates, why your local midterm elections are actually the most important AND we debate whether filming strangers in public should be illegal. It’s a hot button issue! Enjoy this quick 40 minute episode and we’ll see you in two weeks!

    S4E15: THE QUEEN STANDS ALONE

    S4E15: THE QUEEN STANDS ALONE

Turns out, Queen Elizabeth was a rather dynamic public figure. Although, Alex disagrees. Well, kinda. We spend the first half of the podcast breaking down whether the Queen was in fact "good" or was she "bad". What separates duty from the person? Then join us for our deep dive on quiet quitting and how that affects us as small business owners and we end with a stream of consciousness that leads us from toxic masculinity to why Yelp is trash. See you next week!

S4E14: Free Speech and A Soap Box

Welcome to our living room as we discuss our own career trajectories and how hard work is starting to pay off. Why the smartest person in the room asks questions annnnd we debate - again - the sage question - ‘is college really worth it?’. After stepping off our proverbial soap boxes we discuss redemption stories,
political nuance and why if it’s free speech for all - it’s truly free speech for ALL. Oh, and secrets are revealed at the end!! Stay tuned!!

    S4E13: What's In A Name

    S4E13: What's In A Name

We're coming in HAWT and a day late. Just like you like it! Alex pops off on why he is losing respect for certain "professions" and why starting your "own thing" has more value than you can imagine. We chat Biden's 10k student loan relief and why no matter your opinions on the matter, it still isnt getting to the root of the issue. We ponder on the importance of naming your profession. The importance in owning your own title, as it were. We start off mild, come in hot and send you off with the smooth stylings of Ted Cruz. #blest Enjoy!

Self masturbatory is totally a word

Just listened to the latest episode while scrubbing my copper pots😂 thank you for the refreshing company and I love your take on the current political situation. It’s been despair city over here so the encouragement to live your life and move on is appreciated and heard. You guys clearly have so much respect for each other, have a WONDERFUL wedding, and Rachel, I use that term ALL THE TIME! This feels like more of a letter and less a review, so...
Sincerely,
Brookelynn
