DEEPER 153 - The Bitterness Thread; Cain, Abel, Protests & Riots
Our podcast this week explores the story of Cain and Abel from the Bible, found in Genesis 4. We look at how this tale, about two brothers and their offerings to God, reflects the importance of faith. We'll also discuss the destructive nature of bitterness, using both the story of Cain and current examples like the recent Anti-Israel college protests, to illustrate the thread of bitterness on individuals and society.

Encouraging and Informative
Biblically sound, wise, culturally relevant, intelligent, and served with a side of humor and the warmth of a pastor’s heart - what more could you want? I look forward to this podcast every week. God Bless You!
Highlight of my week!
Can’t say enough good things about the Deeper Podcast with Darren & Mo….my husband and I found Conduit and the Deeper podcast a little over a year ago and haven’t missed an episode since! Love the way scripture from the previous Sunday’s sermon is expanded on in relationship to our current culture and time in history…in addition, Mo & Darren’s life experience and former careers in the Christian music industry adds a unique flavor to their interaction on air…bringing some great stories that always make me laugh! These two are well read and crazy smart…always challenging me to think critically through the complex issues we face as Christians living in a postmodern secular world….one of the highlights of my week….make time for it…you won’t be disappointed!
Listen!
