#WellnessWednesday - How Dancing Helps Your Mental Health
Dancing is fun and can be a great way to celebrate, but evidence also suggest that it can be a powerful tool for boosting mental health and well-being!
Researchers have found that dancing can improve mood, combat depression, boost brain function, foster happiness, and even improve relationships. It can also improve psychological coping and overall well-being.1
Whether you prefer solo dancing or being involved in a more formalized and choreographed program, dancing offers obvious plusses to your physical health. You’re not only rhythmically moving your body and expressing feelings. You’re burning calories and getting a workout for sure.
But this creative, fun physical activity also boosts your brain functioning. You’re taking a break from work, family, and everyday stressors. You’re turning off the incessant worry and negative self-talk.

#WellnessWednesday - The Psychology of Mean Girls
Meredith talks about mean girl behavior, known as relational aggression and how it's definitely not fetch to be a mean girl in this world.
Mean Girl behaivor is a survival tactic for people who are insecure, immature, jealous, egotistical, and yes, narcissistic. It is a learned behavior and an insidious type of bullying used that often goes unnoticed by parents, educators and even society in general. One of the problems is, the people you least expect it from, fall into this category.
Tweens, teens and young adults that participate in relational aggression are often able to manipulate others and it go undetected by society. In fact, some are so cunning, that no one would ever suspect them of hurting others and sometimes very shocked by it. You know that person, the one that smiles, is overly nice to you, listens to all your problems and then stabs you in the back by using it against you. Meredith has had this happen to her as a child and even into her adult life.

Customer Reviews
Different and interesting
I enjoy the Wellness Wednesday’s thoughts. Pods focused on her experiences and advice (both acting and wellness) are the best part. They’re unique, funny and entertaining. Her politics, perhaps righteous, are wholly representative of her profession and you’ve heard it before.
Great insight to the workings of working in theatre
Meredith is brilliant, funny and candid. Meet a great actress who has the opportunity to know and work with other great talent
She really knows the right questions to ask
Honest and compelling talk about the business of show business. From her beginnings of success and heart ache. A must listen for anyone who thinks there is an "overnight success". I am her father who she interviewed and she was so fun to talk with about things I had not discussed for years. She knows how to get you to talk. Love the memories that pop out of your head!!
