At 4:45 On My Last Day Of Work, I Hit "Send"
Adena interviews Colette Dennehy, a former U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Supervisory Special Agent. Colette started as a clerk typist, became a patrol officer, a customs inspector, and eventually an investigatory special agent. Her career was chasing and catching smugglers. Growing up in a house with four brothers might have prepared Colette for a career in a male-dominated field. Her personal experience differs from many of our previous guests, as Colette notes she was perceived as intimidating, and wasn't afraid to speak up loudly when something inappropriate went on at her workplace.
