Memories + Doing it All + Brave Faith (with Alistair Begg)

Memories + Doing it All + Brave Faith (with Alistair Begg)

In this episode, I share the conversation my co-host and I had with Pastor Alistair Begg about the challenges facing us today as Christians. Pastor Begg is senior pastor at Parkside Church in Bainbridge, Ohio and the voice behind the Truth For Life Christian radio preaching and teaching ministry, which broadcasts his sermons daily to stations across North America.

His new book, Brave: God Size Confidence in a Post Christian World is out now and exactly what we need to today to help us not only walk by faith, but be BRAVE in our faith as well. And of course, drive us continually back to God's word.

Additionally, I shared some of my experiences getting my old VHS converted to digital and it has been so amazing. Enjoyagain.net

Eye Opening Moments in the Bible: From Genesis to Today with Rabbi Jason Sobel

Eye Opening Moments in the Bible: From Genesis to Today with Rabbi Jason Sobel

Today I have one of my favorite guests on... The most incredible teacher, Rabbi Jason Sobel. Unlock the Mysteries of the Messiah that are hidden in plain sight with him and his new book Mysteries of the Messiah.

Most people do not understand how the Bible fits together—even people of faith. Too many Christians accept half an inheritance in that they are content to embrace merely the New Testament. On the flip side, Jews often experience this by embracing only the Old Testament. But God has an intricate plan and purpose for both.

Mysteries of the Messiah: Unveiling Divine Connections from Genesis to Today by Rabbi Jason Sobel, raised in a Jewish home in New Jersey but now a follower of Jesus—Yeshua—helps readers unlock the fascinating mysteries in Bible. Mysteries not only about the Messiah but also how the Bible reveals Him and unveils His intense love and relentless pursuit of redemption for all.

Rabbi Jason received his rabbinic ordination from the UMJC (Union of Messianic Jewish Congregations) in 2005. He has a B.A. in Jewish Studies (Moody) and an M.A. in Intercultural Studies (Southeastern Seminary). He is a sought-after speaker and has made multiple appearances on national television, including the Trinity Broadcasting Network, the Daystar Network, and the Dr. Oz Show. Rabbi Jason is the author of Breakthrough: Living a Life That Overflows, Finding Jesus in the Jewish Holidays, and he is also the coauthor of New York Times bestseller The Rock, the Road, and theRabbi with Kathie Lee Gifford. Shake Your Worry + Purge Your Past + Cleanse Your Mind with Carla Gasser

Shake Your Worry + Purge Your Past + Cleanse Your Mind with Carla Gasser

This episode we're talking with Author and Speaker Carla Gasser.

Her new book Beauty of an Uncluttered Soul is out now and we're chatting about it and how we should focus on not only de-cluttering our homes and life... but our soul too!

Description: When the world seems chaotic, extreme, and out of control, we sometimes find ourselves desiring to order and simplify our personal lives, hoping to gain a sense of peace and purpose. Scroll through social media, read bestselling self-help books, or watch any DIY television show, and you will discover there are plenty of ways to transform your home, your body, and your life.

But how do we care for our souls?

The Bible teaches us how to apply the principles of self-care and minimalism to the clutter within as well. Using the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) as a guide, this nine-week devotional will help you cleanse your soul from the inside out by allowing God's Spirit to come and produce the soul qualities you're longing for.

    Purge your past.
    Shake out your worry.
    Open your heart.
    Cleanse your mind.
    Declutter your attitudes.

We all want more love, joy, peace, patience, and self-control. Let this book be your guide to the abundant life you've always wanted.

Incredibly diverse and Informative

Sara Carnes’ podcast, “Conversations with Sara,” is incredible. Some may know her as the cohost of the morning 95.5’s program or the Cleveland Browns’ games host, but there is a lot of wisdom, humor and practical advice in this production that goes way beyond her other “hats.”. She researches her information well and brings top-level guests from health and medical professions, artists, musicians, everyday people making a difference and high-level comedians, bloggers and media personalities. Highly recommended!
