That's So Me: Investing in Your Website Through Storysale with Emily Blickhan | E45

That's So Me: Investing in Your Website Through Storysale with Emily Blickhan | E45

In this episode of the Copywriter on Call podcast, Sara chats with Emily Blickhan, a maternity, newborn, and family photographer based in Wilmington, North Carolina. Emily participated in the most recent round of Storysale, What Sara Said's group coaching program, and throughout the program, Emily developed website copy that felt like her and was SEO-friendly. She also shares about her hesitation to step into email marketing and how she feels now!
    👋 MEET EMILY BLICKHAN:
    Hello there! I’m Emily.
I’ve been photographing mothers, babies, and families for seven years, and in the midst of raising and homeschooling five children, I help mothers effortlessly preserve their memories with their families by capturing artistic photographs.
When I’m not photographing expecting mothers, newborns, and families, I’m designing custom heirloom-quality products and prints for my clients in the greater Wilmington area.
I first picked up a camera to try and preserve my own memories as a new mama. My husband encouraged me to dive into newborn photography in an effort to channel my baby fever (his attempts backfired, hence the five children we’re blessed to call our own).
I personally struggle with being present as a mom and taking time to find the beauty amidst the chaos of my own life, and that’s why I’m so passionate about helping my clients to pause and appreciate it all.
To me, motherhood is a gift from God, and I believe that love is only truly experienced when a mother looks at her child. That connection has inspired my modern style of photography and my focus on a mother’s love for her baby.

That's So Me: Website Relaunch with Sarah Monson, Senior Photographer

That's So Me: Website Relaunch with Sarah Monson, Senior Photographer

In this episode of the Copywriter on Call podcast, I chat with Sarah Monson, a Wisconsin senior photographer who recently niched down to serving only seniors. Sarah is also stepping into education this year and needed a new website to support those moves.
Learn how Sarah and I initially connected inside The Content Huddle, my monthly writing membership, and how it led to working together on retainer and then to a full website overhaul.
    ✨ MEET SARAH MONSON
Hey there! It's me Sarah, an adventuring, rural-loving senior photographer at SMP.
Seniors who trust SMP to capture their senior photography session want imagery that captures who they uniquely are and an easy-going, supportive experience before and after the camera’s been clicked. It’s important to me that my seniors have an enjoyable photography session and simply can’t wait to share their photos with their favorite people, which is why I spend time with each senior client and their families to set the vision for their sessions.
After a 21-year career in corporate graphic design, my passion for photography became my full-time career. Now, I’m living my best life connecting with high school seniors on the cusp of their own journeys to realize their dreams.
When I don’t have a camera in my hands, I’m gardening, fishing, and adventuring with my husband and our grown daughters in southwest Wisconsin and wherever our travels take us!
