When My Heart is Overwhelmed | Psalm 61

When My Heart is Overwhelmed | Psalm 61

“When I am overwhelmed," says the text of Psalm 61. When, not if. We WILL be overwhelmed; the question is, where will we go? Psalm 61 invites God's people to turn to him, remembering his presence and his promises and trusting in the King who is "enthroned forever."

    Look & Listen | Psalm 60

    Look & Listen | Psalm 60

Rejection. It’s something every human being has experienced (or will). But where do we turn when it seems like God has rejected us? Psalm 60 calls God's people to look to what God has done and to listen to what God has said.

    God’s Triumph Changes Everything | Psalm 59

    God’s Triumph Changes Everything | Psalm 59

One of the fundamental truths of the Christian faith is that God is triumphant over all. But when you look out at the world, it does not seem like God is triumphant. Psalm 59 invites God’s people to see how God’s triumph changes everything, from how we live to how we suffer.

I Will Because God Will | Psalm 57

I Will Because God Will | Psalm 57

Discipleship to Jesus requires grit and perseverance. But in our cultural moment, it can be easy to settle for what feels good or is convenient. Psalm 57 challenges God's people to live a life that intentionally chooses and says "I will" to God. Yet at the same time, the only reason we are able to say "I will" is because of God's steadfast love.

    Come & See | Psalm 66

    Come & See | Psalm 66

Psalm 66 is a song of vibrant praise and reminds God's people of the good things God has done. In a time when it is easy to look to other things besides God and his Word, Psalm 66 reorients the people of God to more resounding praise and honor of God, the thing we need most.

Truth in a podcast.

Pastor Bob Thume is exceptional. These sermons are approachable for non-Christians and yet speak the truth of the Gospel. Convicting for Christians to have Christ influence every part of their life. Definitely not watered down. Very biblically based. Highly recommend.

Presence of God

I became a Christian just 2 or 3 years ago and have since been looking for teaching that is both approachable for me and challenging to me. Here it is. Highly recommended.

Redefining Church | Inspiring Missional Community

It has been life-changing for me to be around a group of people who are making God primary in their lives, saturating themselves with the gospel, getting out of their comfort zones to be missional, engaging culture rather than avoiding it, and fully depending on the power and flexibility of the Holy Spirit.

Wherever you are at on your spiritual journey, these podcasts will amaze you with solid teaching - specifically on the topics of spiritual transformation and what it means to live the Christian life in community.
