Great Show! Great Humor! God Awful Political Takes :(
Really enjoy this show! The hosts are funny, have an obvious passion for music and music history, and they do excellent research for each episode. Unfortunately they tend to interject their dim political takes into the episodes and it can be a bit cringe. Wish they’d just keep it to the music rather than talking down to half of their listeners. Still highly recommend listening though, they are quite likable people, politics aside. Would love to hear an episode on the great Jim Croce.
Learning so much about music history!
I’m a big true crime nerd and this podcast caught my attention; although I’m not much of a music buff. I didn’t expect it to be one of my go-to podcasts with my lack of music culture background, but I’ve been sucked in! 10/10 would recommend! Love how relatable the hosts are and how they can be very informative while keeping it entertaining. Keep it up!
Love This Podcast
It covers all genres of music and they always include a spotify playlist with each full episode. I’ve discovered a lot of new music I never would have listed to otherwise. The stories they tell are fascinating and informative. The banter between them when they get off topic can be quite hilarious, especially in season three with the addition of new cast member, the mysterious “Jake”! Well worth the download. I’m hooked!
