Author Matt Scott joins to talk about his book, Surviving the Lion's Den, as well as his newest release, The Iranian Deception, and global politics, writing, and finding inspiration to take the leap into a new endeavor. Matt studied under the former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, General Sam Wilson, and ingrained himself in middle-east affairs and politics. An avid reader, Matt credits The Davinci Code for his push into novel writing, and David Baldacci for encouragement to take the leap.His first novel, Surviving the Lion's Den, released in 2021 and pushed Matt into the limelight of the military/spy book genre.
