Courtney Roselle's Iron Grace Greetings From the Garden State

    • Places & Travel

Courtney Roselle has appeared on The Rock's Titan Games on NBC, is a fitness model, an accomplished athlete, personal trainer and all-around badass. Her journey should serve as an inspiration for women everywhere.

Segment 1
Courtney takes us through her background growing up as a "feminine tomboy" and how people were always trying to put her in a box. Even though the early part of Courtney's story was difficult for her, it is what started shaping who she is today. She began exploring interests, played sports, went to college and played basketball, and decided she wanted to get into modeling. Despite constant rejection, it took a chance encounter for Courtney to land her very first modeling gig, in Vogue.

Today in New Jersey History: Hoboken, New Jersey named its post office after Frank Sinatra on May 16, 2003.

Segment 2
After her appearance in Vogue, more things started to manifest for Courtney. She started her own company, Iron Grace Fitness and eventually had the opportunity to try out for WWE Divas. Despite being offered a spot in WWE, she declined the offer and then heard about The Rock's Titan Games, tried out, earned a spot, and went on to crush the competition to win the title "Titan of the East."

New Jersey Fun Fact: The first solid body electric guitar was invented by Les Paul in Mahwah in 1940.

Segment 3
Courtney also does a lot of motivational speaking, mentoring, and coaching. She's spoken at schools and for Girl Scout troops, giving her the opportunity to share her story to connect with other girls who may be feeling the same way she did.
