    • Self-Improvement

Polly is taking on the one-bag challenge are you in?
Interior designer and feng shui consultant Julie Ann Segal shares the practices we can use to release clutter and infuse our homes, offices, and spaces with positive energy. Feng Shui she says is an ancient practice that involves creating, building, and decorating our physical environments, the spaces we use in our homes and offices to create a positive energy flow that will support our health, growth, abundance, and good feelings.
Feng shui principles often involve color, and light and the way we place our physical pieces such as beds and desks, Segal says. She's written books on the topic including Change Your Space to Change Your Life.
In this episode, Segal gives tips to reduce clutter to prevent energy blockages and stuck feelings, and ways we can promote good energy flow in our spaces. Polly is putting one of her tips to the test and decluttering her garage one bag at a time. "Less stuff means more energy," Segal says.
Segal also talks about The Command Position, using accent light and color to create good-feeling spaces.
All of this starts with creating the intention. and she explains how to do that too.
