Fast-paced, interesting and informative

I found this podcast (as a layperson) when I was looking for something to supplement my Lenten discipline. Perhaps because it is a series of lectures, it is particularly packed with information, analysis and interpretations of the Bible. It is the best religious "radio" I have ever come across.

Exceptional spiritual direction

Truly exceptional spiritual direction from Susan Stabile — cannot agree more w/the other reviewer
who put it so well — a definite “must” for anyone who wants to grow in their spiritual life.

For Pray-ers, thinkers, breathers and all God's other children

These are wonderful podcasts -- richly nuanced, dense with scholarship, yet infused with the lightness of being necessary to prayerful communion with God.

Each 'cast hews to a theme; each is rich with scriptural text and classical and contemporary scholarship; yet each, though cerebral, addresses the heart and not just the brain. The author's command of mysticism is as sensitive as her scouring of scholarship is thorough. Each 'cast rewards a second listening: the first for meaning and context, the second for wry and fresh turns of phrase.

These 'casts have become an important part of my spiritual life. Let them become a part of yours.
