    Honor, A Child's Greatest Responsiblity

    Honor, A Child's Greatest Responsiblity

Phil Heller 5/19/2024 Honoring and obeying our earthly parents helps us honor and obey our Heavenly Father! But... is there an expiration date on obedience? How about Honor? Why is the commandment to honor our parents accompanied by a promise? How do I honor parents that are not present in my life, or that haven't treated me lovingly?

    Nurturing, A Mother's Greatest Responsiblity

Phil Heller 5/12/2024 Moms nurture their children by first finding their identity in Jesus and then investing in their children in spiritual ways.

Paul, Silas, and the Philippian Jailer

Paul, Silas, and the Philippian Jailer

Jeremy Stevenson 5/05/2024 Being part of God's story doesn't mean everything that comes your way is going to be easy to overcome... Sometimes we have to go through tough times. While God doesn't cause those tough times, He will USE them for His purposes, and good will come out of them. We must continue to trust in Him, stay faithful to Him, and never shut up about the GOOD things He has done!!

    Paul and Lydia

    Paul and Lydia

Phil Heller 4/28/2024 Sometimes the "good," "moral," and/or "spiritual" people we encounter need a holy interruption. We can be tempted to think it's our job to "convince" people to follow Jesus, and then we are disappointed when they fail to follow suit. Fortunately, where we see roadblocks, God sees detours! When we stop trying to lead the effort, and instead join in as God's servant, His Spirit works wonders! If we listen closely and respond to the Holy Spirit's promptings, others will join us and become part of God's Story.

    Peter and Cornelius

    Peter and Cornelius

Phil Heller 4/21/2024 Peter and Cornelius both had some paradigms that needed to be dealt with... Cornelius was a good man who needed to understand and respond to the good news of Jesus. Peter needed to realize God’s family includes all who place their faith and trust in Jesus, not just people like him. God’s family has room for people who feel that they are on the outside looking in... God does not show favoritism or prejudices!

    Saul and Ananias

    Saul and Ananias

Andy Teare 4/14/2024 Saul's Story intersected with God's story in a spectacular way on the Road to Damascus. Through this encounter his spiritual blindness was revealed to him, and a few key people helped lead him along on the next steps in his faith journey. As members of the body of Christ, we are called on to do the same. We are sent into the world to carry God's story with us and aide others on their faith journeys.

Nones

As a "none", I find the message about nones insulting. We're not psychologically damaged.
We live in a natural world. No need to believe in the supernatural. That's the simple message.

I love the messages that we get a church service. And now it's great that I can get online and listen to them in my car. Jesus is alive at Crossroads and great things are coming out of the messages that we get there.
