In the third week of our series God's people are struggling with how to love God and grow spiritually while also loving their neighbor. This is a tension that has been felt by every generation of God's people, including our own. In this sermon we will tackle questions such as: which is more important, loving God or loving my neighbor, how can we be in the world but not of the world, and how can I even begin to love my enemies?

In the second week of our study in Ezra we see God's people learning to rebuild their identity as "children of God" through worship. This leads us to asking the questions: Is my identity shaped by who God says I am? And what rhythms and habits of worship am I constructing in my life to remind me of who I really am in God's eyes?

This week we are examining the value of worshiping in unity as a church. Division and selfishness try to stand in our way as barriers, Paul encourages us in 1 Corinthians 11 to fix our eyes on Jesus and on one another instead of on ourselves to overcome these barriers.
