Paul has received a positive report from the Church in Thessalonica and is responding in this letter to praise them and furth instruct them. In today’s passage Paul recounts the effects the Gospel has had on the Thessalonians and how they have effectively spread it to their worlds.

God LOVES you!
For God so loved the world, that he gave His only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life!

but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord!

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!

You must RESPOND
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved…For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
