Welcome to the Cult Film Club, a monthly podcast and blog about MOVIES WE LOVE TO DEATH despite how bad, weird or obscure they are. In fact, we love them because they’re bad, weird or obscure! We discuss and analyze cult films from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and beyond. Collectively we possess an impressive amount of useless pop culture knowledge, but we’re no movie snobs–just a couple of guys (and a girl) who really like movies.

Awesome format and info

I’ve consumed a lot of podcasts about film both mainstream and cult and I’m really glad I stumbled across this podcast. The hosts are incredibly informative and passionate about the movies they cover. It makes me excited to listen to them talk deeply about films, the process, the history, and the impact that these cult films have had. I’ve probably added a dozen films to my queue and I’ve only listened to three episodes. Thanks to Pax, Jaime, and Shawn.

One of the best

I listen to a lot of movie podcasts and a number of them about 'cult classics'. These three truly love cult movies from the 80s, even some that can make you cringe from the awkwardness (the movie characters, not the hosts). The enjoyment they get from these movies shines through and the episodes fly by. They also know a thing or two about the movies and drop some of that info on you for good measure. Lots of laughs and fun. Always happy when new episodes show up.

Eagerly Await Each Episode

As a movie fan with an affection for lost or unappreciated films, Cult Film Club is one of my absolute must listen podcasts. Shawn, Jaime and Pax are down to Earth and passionate about these films, with a show format that is consistently informative and fun. I have discovered many new favorites like RAD thanks to their recommendations and had my personal love of 1994's The Shadow justified by their coverage of the movie. Plus the hosts are very accessible on social media so follow @cfcpod and get a conversation started about the movies YOU love to death.
