Best time to be had ever!!!
Jay and Matt bring so much entertainment and “Know-Stalgia” to this podcast. It’s truly a delight to listen to their anecdotes and retelling of stories no matter the subject manner. Like Matt divulging his book safe story or Jay being hot for Dallas. It’s so fun to listen and I look forward to every episode. Cheers guys, you’ve inspired me to think about making my own show. So much fun!
These guys are a blast! So much nostalgia! They clearly have a real love and a lot of knowledge about the stuff they cover. Sometimes the fact that they’re BLAZED the entire time can be a little annoying when they go into a fit of hysterical laughter. Maybe edit a little of that out. The other thing that’s a little jarring is the constant F bombs. I have no issue with casual swearing, I’ve been known to drop an F word or two myself, but this is like Scorsese levels of bombing. A little weird when you’re talking about Santa and children’s toys. 😂

So I gave the first episode of this show a listen a few years ago and I wasn’t sold on it. They were coming up with ideas for snack foods and I was like what is this? I decided to give it another shot a few weeks ago and once I got passed that first episode I was blown away. These guys are super knowledgeable about all the nerdy 80’s and 90’s things I love and they’re very funny. I’m gradually getting through their backlog and I’m going to be a long time listener for sure. Work has been going by very smoothly since I started this show. A great listen for kids of the early 80’s.
