DEI? You’re fired!

Love Heather McGee: she’s brilliant, and I agree with your take on the topic, but… Your dismissal of the issues of men in general, as if they have no complaints, was, I think…bad? yeah, bad. mostly bad. Because I think everyone is kinda dumb, and most people are dumber than that, and I believe boys/men are growing up with WAY too much blame on them and the idea that they are inherently immoral, while they are still burdened with huge expectations to succeed as a “man.” Jonathan Haidt has taken this on in response to imbalanced success among men/boys in education and in the blue collar success/opportunity. While the Right is taking this legitimate frustration/phenomenon and using it to make men more red-state, the Left is making fun of it, calling it ridiculous: no wonder we’re losing men. We need MORE Tim Walzs, Doug Emhoffs, and maybe a few guys like The Rock to represent us, but we also need a recognition that we offer the best kind of life for the best kind of men. We need to convince them that we care about them, even if you think men are so privileged. And may I compliment you on your recognition that privileged is a charged word. Thanks
Corporate ad revenue

McDonalds? Really? Do you need ad revenue so bad you’ll take it from massive corporations that are literally poisonous? This feels hypocritical and it’s a major pet peeve for justice-oriented pods. You can do better. Love, Ali
Best interviews - always informative
Apr 18
Jon always has the most informative interviews and he does the background work to make the interviews this way. He’s genuine and doesn’t hold back, regardless of party lines.
Who is Government?
Apr 18
As a former federal employee and the spouse of a 30 year career professional I truly appreciate the message that Michael Lewis is getting out there and Jon’s conversation with him and recognition of the importance of career federal employees. My husband could have gone into the private sector and done anything he wanted to but chose a career in public service because he believes in the mission of his agency. Watching DOGE and the Trump administration berate federal workers and destroy agencies with a sledgehammer is so sad. These workers do not deserve the treatment they are getting and the irreparable damage that is being done is disheartening.
