In this episode, we meet with Htoo Wah Shee from Karen Community Church of Greater Seattle and Panther Lake Community Church. He shares his rich experience of being part of the Karen people and growing up in the US. Rev. Kim also compares and contrasts Htoo Wah's experience with his own as a second-generation Korean-Canadian. We also spent some time reflecting on the faith journey of many young adults living in this bi-cultural context.

Rev. Paul Schneider serves the Evergreen Association as the Associate Executive Minister of Administration and Operation. In this conversation, we explore his interest in organization and structure. We also get to explore a little about his life outside of Evergreen and his love for popular culture.

Victoria also gives us perspective of how we can advocate for people of color and be allies in the fight against prevailing narratives of white supremacy.
