Cunk, Picard, Scream, and The Last of Us or Pump Up The Jam‪!‬ All Pop, No Culture

    • TV & Film

This week has Kim, Andrew, and Kevin back in the saddle. The show kicks off with some idle chit chat, discussing video games and their potential television adaptations following the success of The Last of Us. Next up the gang digs into some sci-fi chat and Kevin and Andrew preach the gospel of Battlestar Galactica to Kim. This leads to a deeper dive into slow burn shows like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. The Kevin switches gears and talks about the new sitcom Animal Control on Fox. Andrew then gives his semi-spoilery review of Scream VI. He gives it a fairly glowing review but it's so scary that Kim has to leave. Ok, she actually has parental duties, but saying she was scared works better here, so we can pretend. After Kim exits for better prospects, Kevin and Andrew take advantage and FINALLY get into season 3 of Picard. We're at episode 4 already so they've been chomping at the bit to discuss. Their review is overwhelmingly positive, so if you haven't watched yet, get on it! As has been the case for the last several weeks, the episode finished on a The Last of Us discussion. This week, the guys cover the penultimate episode of season 1. Much like Picard, they loved this one, too. As Kevin predicted last week, folks were not ready for this episode and he was 100% correct!! As a bonus, after the credits roll on Episode 137, Kevin and Andrew have a spirited discussion about Attack on Titan. Kevin is officially a convert and they talk is very deep, exploring all of the subtle intricacies of the show up to this point. If you have watched or are interesting watching, this conversation is for you! As always, thank you for watching. We had a lot of fun this week so we hope that comes across the inter webs here. Don't forget to like and subscribe if you haven't and share on all of your social platforms, even if your friends have. Spread us around like delicious peanut butter!! Enjoy the episode and have a great week!!
