For his work, Tyler has also been granted a Minnesota TV and film grant. In addition to graduating from New York Film Academy and Minnesota State University Moorehead, Tyler has earned a MFA from Hamline University. Breaking In is his first novel.

Martha Anne Toll's writings have appeared in several media outlets, including NPR, The Millions, Blooms, The Washington Post, After the Art, Los Angeles Review of the Book and Heck Magazine. Martha’s short story, The Gigolo, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She has been a Fellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts in Virginia and southern France, Monson Arts and Diary Hollow.
