DG Rewind-Suicide Prevention in Military Veteran Population Daily Grind Rewind
-
- Society & Culture
The rate of suicide among the Veteran and Active Duty Military population is nothing less than staggering. Extensive resources are available, but connecting those to the needs of the community still remains elusive.
In this episode we're joined by Eddie Johnston of "God's Front Line" - a small group ministry extension aimed at connecting needs and resources to challenge the statistics. Along with Mr. Johnston, Al Lampkins of Veterans Bridge Homes, Veterans Administration Suicide Prevention Officer Kendra Danzer and Director of the Fayetteville Vet Center, Charisse Byron join us for a conversation about an event geared toward engaging the community of resources to veterans before they reach a crisis point.
