Does the world need another church? No, it needs a different church! We are different because Jesus was different. He turned the world’s ideas about God upside down, and through love, forever changed the way that humans could relate to God and each other. We're different because there is a person who sees the typical church and longs for something more, something better. Maybe that person is you. We are radically inclusive, serious about understanding the historical context of scripture, and financially transparent and responsible. Maybe you're different too?

A church that is actually good news!
A met a guy at Furnace Fest music festival. He was wearing a shirt that immediately made my soul feel joy. It said “open & inclusive & loving & Christian & different”. I just had to ask him about it. He said he got it from his church. I said how can I get one? He said he would send me one. Turns out they ran out, but he sent me a whole bunch of other stuff instead! Super awesome! And unfortunately I’ve lost his name and number. I want to say his name was maybe Rich? But I listen to the podcast regularly! It’s the church that I long for as a follower of Jesus. Thanks for the hope and the encouragement! And huge thanks to the guy that I can’t remember from the fest! May you all be blessed to keep up the good work!
