    010. Hosanna Revival with Katie Guiliano

    010. Hosanna Revival with Katie Guiliano

The one where Katie and I talk about the humble beginnings of Hosanna Revival in her college house when she was 20 all the way to today where Hosanna Revival is a multi-million dollar business providing Bibles and tools for women everywhere to deepen their relationship with Jesus. Man, did I love talking to Katie, a fellow Enneagram 3. You guys are going to love this one.

Katie has had one mission in mind since since launching her creative brand four years ago: excite women to engage in Scripture by creating beautiful and intentional tools for their lives. By paving the way in the market for beautiful Bibles and other faith based tools, Hosanna Revival has become a well-known Christian brand among young women. As the brand has grown, Katie is so honored to continue providing truth and encouragement to the Hosanna Revival community through products, social media platforms, and events.

The story of Hosanna Revival’s growth is laced with big risks, big dreams, and a very faithful God. It all began when Katie decided to paint her plain, black, bilingual Bible in 2015. She wanted the cover to reflect the beauty she knew was on the inside of this timeless book. She immediately saw the business and ministry that this could become, and launched a small online shop. The Lord provided her with all that she needed to grow her unique idea into a thriving business.

Katie is passionate about studying the Bible and has seen it transform her relationship with Christ. She deeply desires to see that same passion come alive in other women. Community has become an important aspect of Hosanna Revival as thousands of women learn how to dig deeper into the Word and encourage one another to do the same. Katie has learned so much through owning her own creative business, leading a team, and seeking to follow God. She’s eager to help other creators do the same in their ministries, businesses, and callings. Keeping Christ the center of her business, relationships, marriage, and ministry has always been her number one priority-- she credits all of the Glory to God for guiding each and every step of the journey.

    007. Weight Loss with Jennifer Wagner

The one where Jennifer and I talk about her weight loss journey! Jennifer Wagner is using her massive weight-loss and health journey to share some pretty great truths. On her body-positivity and healthy-living blog she shares how becoming your healthiest self can happen through simple changes like moving, fueling, and loving your body well. She coaches and mentors ladies around the world and in person, right where she lives, in south Florida. Jennifer understands first hand that you can truly learn to love yourself exactly as you are today, while journeying toward the healthiest version of you. When she's not aspiring to change the world's view on body image and healthy living, she can be found playing with her two littles, reading about the enneagram, and drinking all. the. coffee.

    006. The Ministry of Jim and Elisabeth Elliot with Valerie Elliot Shepard

    006. The Ministry of Jim and Elisabeth Elliot with Valerie Elliot Shepard

The one where Valerie Elliot Shepard and I talked about the story of her parents, Jim and Elisabeth Elliot, her new book Devotedly and how she’s carrying on their incredible legacy and ministry. This is one for the books. You don’t want to miss it!

Valerie was the only daughter of missionary parents, Elisabeth and Jim Elliot. They were missionaries to the Quichua Indians of the Amazon jungle and in 1956, while attempting to reach the Waodani Indians with 4 other missionaries, Jim was speared to death in January of 1956.  Elisabeth and Valerie continued to live with the Quichuas until miraculously they were invited to live with the Waodani tribe that had killed Jim. They lived with these Indians for 2 years in safety and contentment, as Elisabeth and another missionary, Rachel Saint learned to speak the language and translated the story of Jesus to them.

This week's interview is just so much fun! Emily Ann Roberts and I met a few years ago and I couldn't hardly WAIT to sit down and talk with her. She was a finalist on Season 9 of NBC's The Voice (Team Blake, duh) and is originally from my favorite place- Knoxville, Tennessee. Her EP Someday Dream came out last year and ya'll, it's so good. She lives in Nashville now, she just got engaged, she loves Jesus and she's just too much fun. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did!
