A Major Dilemma
With any theological belief, there are challenging biblical passages that threaten the belief. Regarding the doctrine of unconditional election, 1 Timothy 2:4 is one such passage. Does God want all people to be saved, or does He not? If the doctrine of unconditional election will stand the test of criticism, then 1 Timothy 2:4 must be addressed.
