Unexpectedly Effective
I only gave this four stars because I'm always skeptical of five-star ratings. I guess the sound quality could be better, so I'll gig it one for that, realistically.
However, the message was stunningly effective. I searched "anger" because of some recent experiences concerning anger in my life. I look like a Ken doll, but I have a very short fuse and will sooner be violent than think or use judgement. I'm not saying I get a little miffed, mean, I CAN'T think, and am willing to fight to the death. That is just a simple, though embarrassing fact. I come from a long line of violent men, who die violent deaths, or alone and broken.
But this reminded me that there is something about the Holy Bible that causes change in human beings. Almost the very second I started playing this dude reading from the scriptures, my heart started sort of reorganizing. Piecing together things that God has been doing tangibly in my life, with this sort of glue of what truly must be his word. I am deeply effected.
I am extremely pragmatic. A scientist, of sorts. I do not follow preachers, nor do i plan to start. But as for this one brief moment of reading; it evidences that God exists, and effects humans practically. I'm convinced that it has little or nothing to do with the guy who did the reading, but again, I am practically effected.
