Dr. Bradley Lander, an award-winning Chicago-based, Board Certified Periodontist and dental implant surgeon joins Enterprise Fit Radio.

Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Dr. Bradley Lander discuss the following:

    * So that our listeners can get to know you, can you please introduce yourself and talk a bit about your background?

    * You started as a dentist in London and then did your residency at UPenn.  What was different about your dental education between the U.K. and the United States?

    * You have been published worldwide, worked on studies with the National Institutes of Health, and won major international awards.  These are significant accomplishments for anyone, much less a Periodontist of your age and background.  Can you tell our listeners what this feels like and how you intend to expand your leadership?

    * Most people don’t understand just how important it is to research and understand the long-term effects of changes in ones mouth to the rest of their body.  Can you please discuss this so our listeners understand that dental health isn’t just about looking good or having perfect teeth.

    * Now that we’ve addressed the cosmetic side of dentistry, let’s take a few moments and look at the functional side, which includes implants.  My understanding, and I am not a dentist or periodontist, of course, is that in the United States you don’t need a specific amount of training to place implants.  When I recently learned this, I was shocked.  Can you discuss your feelings about this based on your experience in the industry?

Dr. Bradley Lander is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Originally from London, England, he received his Bachelor and Master of dental surgery degree with distinction at the University of Leeds, where he also received a Bachelor of Sciences in Oral Biology. Following graduation, Dr. Lander worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

In 2020, Dr. Lander was named a recipient of the prestigious Thouron Award to attend the University of Pennsylvania where he completed his specialist training in Periodontics and Dental Implantology and received his Masters’s degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Lander has since been awarded further scholarships from the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation, Osteology Research Academy and was named a recipient of the Coslet Memorial Scholarship.

Dr. Lander graduated with the Dr. Joseph Fiorellini Director’s Award. Dr. Lander has presented his research both nationally and internationally and strives to provide a long-term meaningful contribution to the field. Aside from Dentistry, Dr. Lander enjoys playing football (soccer), exploring nature and spending time with his family and friends.

Finding it helpful as a new business owner

Just started my own business in 2021, and found this podcast to be short, informative, and thought provoking.

The recent episode with Rob Shallenberger has given me some good ideas on how to be less distracted and more productive in my business.
