With over two decades of experience in the field, Kamal is a proficient Software Engineer, Program Manager, and Product Manager, renowned for building robust enterprise technology platforms.

    John is a retired Staff Sergeant of the United States Marine Corps. He retired after 12 years of service to our country after being injured in Iraq on his second tour. Throughout his years in the military, Jones developed strong leadership skills, which he carried over into his work as a non-profit executive. John has dedicated over 15 years of his professional career to the non-profit sector and helping his fellow Veterans.

    Throughout his career, John has demonstrated a commitment to causes that impact individuals and communities in need. He has worked with organizations focused on issues such as housing, education, job placement, and Veteran services, utilizing his extensive experience and knowledge to create positive change in the world.

    He’s made significant contributions to the non-profit space, working tirelessly to raise funds, create awareness, and implement strategies to help organizations meet their goals. He is known for his expertise in building relationships with donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders to further the mission of non-profits.

    John lives in Windsor, CO and enjoys spending time in the mountains, riding his Harley and spending time with his children.

    John Melick has over 30 years of international telecommunications experience in starting, building, and managing growing technology companies in dynamic international markets. Most recently, John was the cofounder and Chairman of the multi-award winning Djibouti Data Center (DDC), which is the first and most connected Tier 3 standard, carrier-neutral data center in the African continent, with direct access to 11  international and regional fiber optic cable systems connecting Europe, the Middle East, and Asia markets with Africa.  Prior to founding the DDC, John was part of the co-founding management team of a global voice and data service provider that grew from a start up to a publicly traded (USA: NYSE) Fortune 1000 company with USD $1+ Billion in annualized revenue, and operations in 14 countries.   John also served as an executive at MCI where he was directly responsible for launching the first-ever international digital satellite services for multinational corporations in over ten (10) different countries in Latin America.  Among other industry acknowledgements, John has most recently been recognized by Capacity Media in their Power 100 global index of the wholesale telecommunications industry’s most influential leaders, and by Data Economy in their Africa 50: The 50 Leaders in Data Centers and Cloud.  John holds a B.A. degree from University of Maryland and an M.S. degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
    Alex Chace is a Program Manager at APTelecom, a digital infrastructure firm specializing in developing connectivity in both established and emerging markets around the globe. There he directs the implementation of Federal capacity-building grants and feasibility studies. Chace is also an Adjunct Professor of Management at his alma mater Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Chace has been featured as a panelist at the Telecom Review Leader’s Summit in Dubai, UAE, a moderator at Datacloud Nordics in Oslo, Norway, and a moderator at the Pacific Islands Telecommunications Association (PITA) in Suva, Fiji.
    Chace is an Honors Graduate from Bryant University earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2020. He completed the Bryant Graduate School of Business Administration MBA program in 2021 specializing in International Business. During his time in the graduate Program, Chace interned for the United States Department of State.
