Ep 007 - Dirty (& Healing) Nanay: Holding Space For Ourselves, Our Family, and Our BIPOC Community Dirty Nanay: A Nod to the Unfiltered Filipino American Mother

    • Parenting

Yes, we are a week late (and no, this doesn't have anything to do with a pregnancy reference). WE HAVE BEEN STRUGGLING!! Not only are we exhausted as social justice workers and Filipinx parents, we literally have no answers on how to address the rise in Asian hate crimes and supporting our Black Community because we are dealing with our own stress and emotions when it comes to holding space for ourselves, for our family, and for our BIPOC community. So, let's address the elephant in the room! We have a candid conversation on what has been weighing on our minds and on our hearts and find inspiration on Native American/Indigenous people's concept of a healing circle. I hope this conversation resonates with all of you.
