This week Wes and Todd sit down with Rose Fredrick, curator of the Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale. Rose talks about the history and significance of the show; her approach to curating; and her relationship with the artists and their work.
Rose also talks about the future of the Coors Western Art Exhibit and how it benefits the National Western Scholarship Trust, a trust established in 1983 to provide college financial support to the next generation of agribusiness and rural medical leaders.
The Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale runs through January 26, 2020, on the 3rd level of the Expo Hall at the National Western Stock Show.
There is no extra fee to get into the art gallery, but there is a grounds admission charge for the Stock Show.
