EP 025: Simona Dharma Devi’s Quest: My Soul is a Dancer The Always Becoming Podcast

    • Self-Improvement

Anthropologist of dance and theater, and Classical Sacred dance instructor, Simona Dharma Devi, shares about her life experiences as a dance performer, actress, and Kundalini yoga instructor. She tells us that through these approaches she eventually created Kundalini Rhythms Dance—a mystical, sacred form of dance that is meant to be healing and transformative. Dharma believes dance is the ultimate healing form, and that dance gives us the ability to change self-limiting beliefs, and the negative stories we tell ourselves. Dharma shares some chapters of her own Becoming Story, which include a traumatic betrayal, and period of depression. She tells how she was able to move out of the darkness and reclaim her power by using dance to reconnect to her physical body, and to her creative, spiritual Self.
