Ep. 176 - Elseworlds - Batman: Assault on Arkham The DCAU Review

    • TV & Film

Week three of the Good Brothers' annual Elseworlds month continues, and this week it's a trip to the video game universe of the popular Arkham series with a look at the direct to video movie, Batman: Assault on Arkham. Although the title makes it seem like a Batman film, the movie actually heavily focuses on everybody's favorite government Task Force X aka "Some kind of Suicide Squad." Hear the hosts talk about a plot that likely influenced the two live action Squad movies that followed this 2014 release. The hosts talk the normal 4 categories including an eastern animation style that features both exciting action scenes, and disappointing shortcuts. Additionally they talk a huge voice cast featuring several DCAU voice-alumni and additional voices from video games and galaxies far, far away. Plus the return of a dubstep-influenced soundtrack and a preview of next week's HUGE review to wrap up the month, on this week's all new DCAU Review!
