A Podcast about Country Music and the people who make it.
My name is Rob Cain and I'm your host for The FreightTrain Podcast. I was a booking agent and Tour Manager for a regional act in the South East US that was signed to a record label in Nashville, TN for about 5 years. Along the way I met tons of people and created relationships that would have otherwise never existed.
In this podcast I'm going to sit down with a lot of those folks I met and respect and get their story and see how they feel about country music today. I'll also talk about what music I think is not being appreciated enough and give my opinion on new and existing music. Thanks for listening!

Ep 32 w/ Leon Edwards of Inked Entertainment
Booking and marketing shows has always been an interest of mine; on this episode I got to talk to Leon Edwards of Inked Entertainment who helped create one of the largest festivals in Illinois, TailgateNTallboys. Inked Ent also services a ton of other events in the Illinois area and have become a powerhouse in festival and event producing. Ep 29 w/ Drew Parker
I say this nearly every week but this literally was my favorite episode yet! Drew Parker, my guest for Ep 29 of the podcast took some time backstage at The Signal in Chattanooga, TN to sit down with me and chat. You'll learn where the north and south are divided in GA, how he came to own EVERY SINGLE vinyl record that Kieth Whitley ever sang on, as well as how the first song he ever got cut is now on a gold record.
