Today, I had the amazing opportunity to speak with Simran Kapoor, the Founder and President of The Bottle Project. The Bottle Project is a youth-led organization that follows the idea that there is a bottle inside each individual that collects their thoughts. Her mission is simple: to fill the bottles of those around her with positivity. Through the rhetoric of the bottle, she hopes to establish a sense of positivity and individualism in youth, reinforcing the idea of positive mental health. During our conversation, Simran discussed her thoughts regarding the stigma surrounding mental health, self-care in quarantine, starting a nonprofit organization, and more.
