Chriss Smith (@mystrsmith) was a U.S. Navy SEAL for 12 years. Chriss now runs Trident Mindset (@tridentmindsetoffical; tridentmindset.com) – an online mental toughness training program designed by SEALs, intelligence operatives, and neuroscientists that teaches people how to be calm, effective, and happy during adversity. Chriss also competes in ultra-endurance races. He raced in the 417-mile Eco-Challenge in Fiji this past year and is now training with three teammates to attempt to set a world record at the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge, a 3,000-mile row across the Atlantic Ocean.
