Emese Parker is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner (NP), perinatal mental health specialist, public health geek, and author. She has over twenty years of experience in healthcare and loves partnering with women of all ages as they navigate their distinct journeys through life.

In her current role as women’s health NP, Parker strives to promote health and wellness through compassionate, holistic care, while empowering women to make informed decisions about their bodies. Her devotion to improving care for the marginalized has fueled her involvement in public health leadership positions with organizations like the University of California San Francisco and the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration’s Health Disparities Collaborative.

Her new book is called To Carry Wonder is a fun new type of pregnancy book aimed to nurture, inspire and equip mamas and mamas-to-be. In this two-in-one keepsake, women can enjoy a curated blend of story and art with evidence-based insight across the four trimesters. Parker draws from her own personal and clinical experiences with pregnancy, providing practical support via candid memoirs and conversational heart-to-hearts—to inspire wholeness in pregnancy and motherhood.

A portion of the book proceeds go to International Justice Mission (IJM), a global non-profit committed to combatting violence and slavery.
