Ep: 59: Embracing the Uncomfortable: A Conversation with Terry Tucker About Cancer & Amputation This Is My Truth

    • Self-Improvement

Today I have a conversation with Terry Tucker who shared his journey with a rare form of  rare form of melanoma that presented on the bottom of his foot. This led to almost five years on the drug, Interferon, along with the amputation of his foot and leg. Throughout this journey, he learned to embrace the uncomfortable times that we all experience in our lives and using them to make us stronger. We talk a lot about what holds us back from being the best person we're capable of becoming, in addition to what it's like to just exist & go through the motions vs. actually living.

A bit more about Terry in his own words: I has been an NCAA Division I college basketball player, a Citadel cadet, an undercover narcotics investigator, a SWAT Team Hostage Negotiator, a high school basketball coach, a business owner, and most recently, a cancer warrior. Our family has lived all over the United States and currently resides in Colorado. In 2019, after recovering from a foot amputation. I started the website, Motivational Check, to help others find and lead their uncommon and extraordinary lives and to help people find and live their purpose.

To continue to follow Terry on his journey, reach him at https://www.motivationalcheck.com/ or on FB at https://www.facebook.com/motivationalcheck/?modal=admin_todo_tour.

I hope you enjoy our conversation!

xoxo, Jessi
