In this episode, I'm joined by Ilan Breil. Formerly a literary manager, he now focuses his time in producing and offering script consultant services. Throughout his career, he has helped launch several television creators/showrunners, including Jon Bokenkamp (The Blacklist), Scott Rosenbaum (The Shield, Queen of the South), Monica Owusu-Breen (Lost), Conrad Vernon (Producer/Director Sherek 2 & 3 and Sausage Party) and Andy Reaser (Grey's Anatomy), among many others. With over 20 years of experience, he has worked with all mejor studios and networks, and has an extensive contacts network that includes managers, agents and buyers. He currently also has a slate of tv and films in different stages of development.

As a consultant, he assist in navigating the choppy politics of getting your script exposed and read by the entertainment business at large. He is able to provide specific information about the industry (seek advice/guidance), offer script/development consulting or guide you on how to get your material ready for distribution.
