EP 91: Ransomware and Security Breaches SHOULD Scare You with Dan De Steno Nobody Told Me That! with Teresa Duncan

    • Management

Have you heard of Log4Shell? Well, that’s why you need to stay up to speed on security issues. Most offices have ‘the IT company’ or as I called him ‘the IT guy.’ Nowadays you need help managing the CBCT, patient communication, phone system and practice management system. My guest is Dan De Steno from NOVA Computer Solutions - a managed services provider I’ve recommended for years.
He scared the bejeesus out of me by explaining the new Log4Shell vulnerability that WILL AFFECT US ALL. We also talked about setting up your employees to work from home and the liabilities that come into play. Hiring an outsourcing company? You need to protect yourself from their systems. Information technology management is not what it was years ago - I came away with a ton of new information - I hope you do too.
