Founded in 2005, DSL has been a trailblazer in experimenting and promoting virtual art experiences — in various forms and stages - the collection takes on the presence of a website to an underwater gallery in Second Life, to a VR museum and now a game in development.
Reflecting 30 years of collecting, Sylvain shares why and how digital transformation is vital for a private art collection and the yearning for art to generate social value and challenge the status quo in a time when social distancing has become a pervasive norm.
