One of the most vexing problems of the faith is explaining and understanding how a good God could allow evil in the world. If God is really good, how do we understand all the pain, suffering, trials, and tribulations in the world? Listen in to this message to hear Eric's Biblical insight.

Perhaps the greatest lie ever believed in Christianity is the reason that Jesus had to die and who killed him. The conventional view is that Jesus was punished in our place for our sins by the Father. The theological term for this view is called Penal Substitution. 
But is that the truth? Was Jesus actually punished in our place? This punishment paradigm is problematic for several reasons. Discover what is really going on.

One of the biggest lies we believe about God is that He separates from us when we sin. We believe a Holy God cannot even look upon sin and therefore separates from us. We tear down the narrative many of us have believed from the Garden of Eden and then also seemingly proven on the cross when Jesus cries out, "My God, My God, Why Have You Forsaken Me?"
